Sixteen vocal ensembles of all kinds will join VIH in a celebrating the joy of choral music reflecting throughout our community and across all ages. There will be two different concerts, 3PM and 7PM including community, church and school choirs, both youth and adult. This the the fourth time VIH and the Raue Center has hosted the Festival of the Voice.

Community and choir join their voices in harmony reflecting Handel’s great masterwork accompanied by a 25-piece orchestra, excellent soloists and projections of beautiful calligraphy by Timothy Botts. The McHenry County College Chorus will supplement the on-stage choir. This is one of our area’s most meaningful holiday traditions.

VIH reflects on 30 years of music in our community – transforming, inspiring, affirming. Great music – right here! We will honor those people and businesses who have helped to bring our music to life. Our featured guest musicians is The Winds Off The Lake Woodwind Quintet. AND – Something you will want to be sure to hear – the WORLD PREMIER of “Reflections” – a composition for chorus and piano by Tom Vos.
